Recitals & Concerts

Each year WSMTA is proud to celebrate the hard work of students, teachers, and guest artists through a series of concerts during the June conference.

In 2023, the June Conference Student Honors Recitals will be open to the public as they have been in years past.  Each student performer will receive a family pass, and others may purchase a ticket for $15.  Proceeds from the honors recitals help offset the cost of renting the space and ensure that WSMTA can continue to offer this performance opportunity for years to

Our three evening concerts for 2023 are:

  • The Washington Winners Recital, including the 2023 Commissioned Composer of the Year, Sean Osborn
  • Dr. Wei Han Wu, the 2023 Guest Artist, presents Duo Axis with Zach Sheets
  • Chamber Music Concert featuring
Denise Mei Yan Hofmann – Composer | Guitar performing with Dr. Leann Osterkamp He – Piano
