Today it’s nationally recognized as a premier college for the visual and performing arts, and one of only a handful of fully accredited, private colleges in the nation dedicated to educating both performing and visual artists in music, dance, theater, design, and visual art. The Cornish music department offers programs leading to a Bachelor of Music degree in voice, instrumental performance, and composition with emphases in both classical and jazz performance traditions. Pianos carrying the Fandrich & Sons name are the musical equal of most of the world’s fine pianos. Fandrich is able to offer pianos at moderate prices because it purchases, from Asian manufacturers, models selected for excellence of tonal design. Fandrich upgrades these pianos by replacing the essential musical parts with the best parts available (action parts and hammers from Germany, strings from USA). An essential part of the upgrade is Fandrich & Sons’ own proprietary method of micro-balancing the keys. Last, Fandrich thoroughly tunes, voices and regulates each instrument to concert-performance ready condition. For more information please visit their website at www.fandrich.com
