Submissions for the Clarion Newsletter are due on the 20th of the month before you would like your shoutout or blog post to appear. So, to appear in the October Clarion newsletter, you must make your submission by September 20.

TYES OF SUBMISSIONS
Please review these options carefully before answering the next questions:
Blog Post
• More than three sentences about a specific topic or an event (upcoming or past)
• Found on the WSMTA website on the WSMTA Blog page and the home page
• Part of the Clarion newsletter emailed to the membership in the first week of each month (except July)
• Submission can be received anytime
Event Invite
• An invitation or announcement of an upcoming event, typically with a hard deadline.
• Appears only in a mailing to the membership (ie, does not appear on the WSMTA website)
• May appear in the Clarion newsletter as well if the timing is suitable
• Must be submitted at least 7 days before requested mail-out date
Newsletter Shoutout
• Less than three sentences about a past event – often in the form of some photos and a brief event wrap-up
• Appears in the Clarion newsletter mailed to the membership in the first week of each month (except July) • Must be submitted on the 20th of the month before the Clarion newsletter mail-out
