Are you a Chapter President, District Director, State Program Chair, Education Board Member, or Board of Directors Member? You are invited to the 2023 Leadership Seminar, September 16-17 (Noon to Noon) at the Hilton Garden Inn in Yakima, WA.

Expanding Horizons is the focus of the 2023 WSMTA Leadership Seminar. This interactive hybrid conference is available both in-person and online, for your convenience and personal safety preference.

This year will feature some of WSMTA’s own. District III Director and Membership Chair Susan Speicher will present on “Membership Initiative.” WSMTA President Elect Kira Miller, NCTM will present on how to “Reconnect with Yourself”.

The seminar will feature roundtable discussions, explore outreach, and include important updates on your favorite programs.

Anyone holding a local, district or state leadership position is welcome.

Registration Cost: $65 in-person; $35 virtual. $80 for each additional chapter representative.

Room reservations must be made by August 15, 2023 to receive the WSMTA discounted rate.

WSMTA helps to underwrite the cost of the Leadership Seminar by reimbursing one-half the WSMTA special rate of a double occupancy room at the hotel. If you are looking for a roommate, please contact me for possibilities. Many chapters will also reimburse their leaders for the registration fee.

The registration deadline for those attending the Leadership Seminar in-person is September 4. If attending virtually the registration deadline is slightly later, September 11. Don’t delay!
