
It is my pleasure to announce and honor this year’s recipients for the 2025 WSMTA Hall of Fame.
Our recipients were nominated and have been selected to be inducted into the WSMTA Hall of Fame for 2025. This being a great honor, we send many congratulations to you, along with a confirmation that, Carol Cross, a member of the Yakima-Ellensburg Chapter of WSMTA, along with Jason Kuo, NCTM, a member of the Seattle Chapter of WSMTA, will both be inducted into the WSMTA Hall of Fame in June, 2025, at the State Conference in Longview, Washington.

Carol Cross, NCTM, is respected and appreciated by her local Yakima-Ellensburg Chapter, her colleagues, friends and family, and has been closely involved with the WSMTA State Board for several years. She has been a chapter member since 1985, and has maintained a piano studio in Ellensburg since 1978. Carol is always so prepared and committed to her work and has created an amazing environment for learning the piano. Congratulations Carol.

Jason Kuo, NCTM, is appreciated by his local Seattle Chapter colleagues, friends and family, besides also being closely involved the WSMTA State Board, currently holding the position of Music Artistry Program Chair. Jason maintains active piano studios in Seattle and Bothell. He always has a positive outlook and easygoing manner, having a great passion for music. Jason is a soulful musician, a dedicated teacher and so much more! He brings an extraordinary complement of talent to everything he does. He brings a creative mind, an analytical mind, a generous heart, bringing it all to bear in his devotion to the mission of WSMTA, identifying and meeting the needs of his colleagues and their students, now and into the future. Congratulations, Jason.
