It has been a busy and exciting testing season, and it is coming to a close. 2025-2026 was a very productive year for the Music Literacy Program.
The amazing and talented Jane Melin helped me to organize all of the tests on the MLP Google Drive. The Board approved the purchase of Adobe Acrobat for me, so that I can edit some of the problems on different tests. Thank you to all of the Chapter Chairs who have alerted me to different concerns on the set 2 tests this year, I hope to address those this summer. The nice thing is that even with mistakes or problems on certain tests, our teachers know their stuff and have been able to adjust their own answer keys and grades accordingly. A big thank you also to my own wonderful Kitsap chapter (pictured at our 2026 Music Carnival) who modified the technique tests for time efficiency and shared their tricks!
Chapter Chairs, please get those Chapter Profile forms in so we can honor your high honors students, and to get your numbers included in my yearly report to the Ed Board.
