WSMTA maintains a list of workshops as a resource for WSMTA members. You must be logged in to view the Workshop List (see complete instructions below).
It is the members’ responsibility to contact the workshop presenter to determine suitability of the workshop for the WSMTA members’ purpose. Listing on the Workshop List is not an endorsement of the workshop presenter’s content by WSMTA. By using the information on the Workshop list, the WSMTA member agrees to hold WSMTA harmless from all losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses which the member may incur.
If you have any further questions, please contact the WSMTA Administrative Coordinator.
If you would like to have more suggestions for workshops, please review the WSMTA Conference program booklets, where you can find biographies of past conference presenters and descriptions of their presentations.
To view the Workshop List, login to the website and go to the Member Dashboard (see very top menu). Under the heading “For Chapter Leaders”, you will find a purple button for the Workshop List.
We try to protect the information of the individuals on the list by requiring members to login to the website in order to view the list. Thank you for your understanding.
If you are currently on the Workshop List as a presenter…
Please notify the WSMTA office of any changes to your contact information, or updates to the details of your presentations, or if you would like to be removed from the list entirely. Additionally, the Education Board has recently revised the submission process for new proposals for inclusion on the Workshop List: your information does not need to be updated to the new format, but changes to the submission process and requested information are summarized below:
- Complete an online form (use yellow button above to go to the application form)
- Record a video and submit a link to the video 1-3 minutes. The video should function as a “teaser” for any proposed workshop submissions. Portions of a previously recorded (live) presentation are acceptable.
- Provide a written abstract (35-50 words) for each workshop submission, and reference for each submission (date and location of previous presentation, and name plus contact information for the reference/contracting person).
You are welcome to add a video link to any of your presentations currently on the list.
