Application Guidelines
- The Conference Committee encourages piano students to apply for the Lesson with the Artist (masterclass) with pianist and composer Connor Chee.
- Only one student per teacher may apply
- Submit only one piece (or movement) from a single composer from any style of music.
- Please be mindful of the length of the piece. A shorter piece (no more than 5 – 7 minutes) is preferred.
- Application and link (e.g. YouTube, SoundCloud, etc.) or MP3 recording of the student performing the piece must be received by April 22, 2024.
- Teachers will be notified by May 1, 2024 if their student has been accepted to perform in the Lesson with the Artist.
Applicant Eligibility
For the Lesson with the Artist, the student should:
- Be 19 or under by June 30, 2024
- Have the ability to travel to and perform at Gonzaga University in Spokane WA on June 29, 2024 at 3:30 pm
